Ridhi is a cute charm to her parents. Almost always, she is dressed in the most twee outfits by her mother for photoshoots, to capture the delights and precious memories of the little one’s early days. From the time of birth, Ridhi has been dressed in various clothes, from soft pastels to playful patterns in which she is posed, snuggled, and smiled.

Almost overnight, little Ridhi went from being a carefree, giggling toddler to a scratchy, tearful furore. Ridhi was irritable, especially at night when the itching became unbearable. Desperation drives Ridhi’s parents to the worst, and Ridhi is taken to the medic. The toddler who spun and beamed with happiness was spotted with eczema that caused dry, scaly patches to appear on her legs, arms, and back.

Her parents were unaware of the hidden discomfort that Ridhi was exposed to with every outfit change. Little did they anticipate that the frequent dress-ups and the chemicals woven into the fabric were a potential landmine for Ridhi’s delicate skin.

In the event of creating heartwarming memories, it slipped their mind to be extra careful in choosing the fabrics for their baby girl. Her mother felt guilty realising that the fancy clothes had complicated Ridhi’s skin condition. After a few days of slipping into natural and organic clothing, the transformation was nothing short of miraculous. A painful lesson in the importance of skin-friendly clothing for their precious toddler.
